Did you spot them?
The second episode of Dancing On Ice seems to have piqued fans interests for more reasons than just the ice-skating – namely, a unexpected famous face sat in the audience.
On Sunday night’s show, viewers excitedly tuned in to see the likes of Brooke Vincent, Lemar, and Donna Air attempt to skate their way to success, on the revamp of the ITV show.
But little did they know that none other than James Middleton – yup, the Duchess of Cambridge’s younger brother – was actually in the audience of the live show.
It’s presumed that James was there to support his on/off girlfriend Donna – who actually attended sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding back in May.
Viewers couldn’t quite believe that James had turned up to the live show, particularly given that reports had spread suggesting the pair had split up.
His appearance even sparked speculation that the pair really are still an item – and perhaps always have been.
Viewers flocked to social media to voice their confusion. One fan wrote ‘Why’s James Middleton there I thought him and Donna broke up #DancingOnIce’.
And another commented, ‘And WHYYYY is James Middleton there watching @donnaair?! #dancingonice @dancingonice’
While a third fan said, ‘James Middleton in the audience. Thought they’d split #DancingOnIce’
It was thought that 38-year-old Donna had split with Kate’s younger brother, 30, in October of last year. But since than, rumours have been swirling that the couple may have reunited.
The pair had been together for over four years, and James had openly spoken about wanting children with his on/off beau.
In November 2016, he confessed, “I love Donna very much. Marriage is absolutely not something I’m scared of, but it isn’t necessarily the be-all and end-all.
“She makes me very happy. I think I make her very happy. I want children.” We suppose only time will tell for this couple…
