Birds of a Feather stars Linda Robson and Pauline Quirke have excited fans after they reunited for an evening out on Tuesday.
The actresses starred in the long-running sitcom from 1989 to 1998 next to their pal Lesley Joseph, and almost 30 years on it looks like the comedy pairs friendship is still going strong.
In a sweet video shared on Lindas Instagram page, the telly stars can be seen cosying up as they giggle over a drink just like old times.
“Us Birds of a feather we stick together”, 60-year-old Linda tells the camera.
A red-faced Pauline then laughs as she replies: “But were in a restaurant”.
Although Loose Women star Linda doesnt seem to care as she quipped back: “Thats alright it wont hurt”.
Next to the nostalgic video, Linda let her fans know the duo are closer than ever as she wrote: “Had a lovely meal with my mate Pauline been friends for 50 years and yes us birds of a feather we stick together lovely day cheers mate love ya”.
Naturally, the stars 88.3k followers were quick to gush over the clip, as one wrote: “Love that you two are still mates…best mates !!”
Another commented: “Makes my heart smile wen i see you two together a very special friendship spanning 50 years.”
While a third then added: “Awwww lovely to see you both together on instagram, hope you will be doing another series the three of you are mad hilarious”.
Birds of a Feather originally aired on BBC One and was off-air for 16 years before it was revived for a full series on ITV in 2014 – which was such a success it prompted the shows return in 2015, 2016 and a third Christmas special last year.
And while another full series has already been ordered, Linda revealed on Lorraine in December that the cast are too busy to actually start filming it.
Which means it might be a while before we get to see it on our telly screens yet… Aw!
