Susanna Reid has taken a break from her usual TV partner Piers Morgan by enjoying a girls day out with Carol Vorderman.
The telly stars got together for an outing to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire over the weekend, which was being held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the RAF.
Carol, 57, is a qualified pilot as well as an ambassador for the RAF Air Cadets and seemed thrilled to share her passion with Susanna for the day.
The pals posed for a smiley selfie together which Carol posted on Twitter with the caption: “Introduced my bud @susannareid100 to airshows yesterday…..I think she liked it @piersmorgan @GMB”
Susanna, 47, seemed to have a great time at the event and replied: “Fantastic day – thank you @carolvorders @airtattoo @RafFairford”
Fans were thrilled to see the two telly favourites together, with one commenting: “I love you both to bits fantastic wonderful day”
Another wrote: “Hope yous two behaved!”
And one added: “Omg.. didnt realise that two of my fav ladies were mates.”
It comes after Carol appeared on Good Morning Britain last week for a chat with Susanna and Piers and donned her full honorary captain uniform to discuss the RAF anniversary celebrations.
During her visit she shared a pretty flirty exchange with Piers when he remarked: “You do look good in uniform.”
“Thank you very much Piers,” Carol replied. “I wish I could say you did the same.”
Meanwhile Carol couldnt hide her pride at her role as a ambassador for the Air Cadets following the Air Tattoo.
“What a perfect morning with @aircadets … wonderful, happy, talented, disciplined, hard working, joyous team of over 1,000 volunteering and helping @airtattoo this weekend. So very proud to be their Ambassador #4YearsNow,” she wrote on Twitter.
The former Countdown star also posed with some of her favourite aircraft and got fans talking with her stunning look.
Looks like it was a fun weekend for Carol and Susanna!
