Kym Marsh has opened up about a secret health problem that left her struggling with pain.
After suffering in silence, the Coronation Street actress, 42, has now spoke out about the condition, explaining, “Ive had pain in my pelvis for a while now. I recently went for an MRI scan and Ive been told I have a bone spur on the tip of my coccyx.
“Its basically an overgrowth of bone, which is pushing into muscles and tendons and causing me discomfort.”
Speaking to OK! magazine, Kym gave details of the painful problem, admitting that it wont stop her from keeping her figure trim.
She explained, “I have to have a procedure done to correct it and Im told exercising wont cause it any damage, so Im looking for a new personal trainer and hope to be in shape again by summer.”
This isnt the first time the former pop star has opened up about her health struggles, as she was left bed bound with a bout of severe food poisoning earlier this year.
Writing in her collumn for OK! magazine, the former HearSay star revealed, “I felt so awful I had to go to the Alexandra Hospital in Manchester. I was shaking, I felt terrible and like Id been hit by a truck.
