A teenage boy has been stabbed to death in east London, police have said.
Officers were called at 3.20pm and said the attack happened outside Stratford Broadway shopping centre.
The London Ambulance Service also attended but the boy, who officers said is "believed to be in his teens", was pronounced dead at the scene at 3.49pm.
Formal identification has not taken place and his next of kin have not been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be held to establish cause of death.

A second male was also found with stab injuries and taken to an east London hospital. His injuries are not life threatening, officers said.
There are no arrests as yet.
