Huge congratulations are in order for Katherine Jenkins after she welcomed a healthy baby boy with husband Andrew Levitas.
The welsh opera singer announced the happy news by sharing an adorable picture of her newborns hand holding on to his dads finger – while also revealing what theyve decided to call him.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “Andrew, Aaliyah and I are proud to announce the arrival of our gorgeous son Xander Robert Selwyn Levitas.”
Explaining the reason behind their choice of name, Katherine continued: “His middle names honour our late fathers who live on in our little Defender of Men (Meaning of Xander).”
Before finally adding: “Our family, our home and are hearts could not be more full of love & we are incredibly grateful for the gift of being parents to these beautiful children. Cwtches to you all xxx”.
Fans have been quick to comment on the cute photo, with one gushing: “Congratulations to you both, a lovely name too x”.
“This is such a beautiful image of your family expressed through hands, it made me get a huge lump in my throat”, said another.
While a third added: “Aww how beautiful!! Congratulations all.”
Katherine announced back in November that she was pregnant with her second baby with Andrew, as the pair are already parents to two-year-old daughter Aaliyah Reign.
Posting a picture of her daughter wearing a red superhero cape, the 37-year-old wrote: “Sidekick coming soon…
“Andrew and I are overjoyed that our family will be growing in 2018 with the addition of our second child – a baby brother for our little superhero Aaliyah!!!” she wrote.
Katherine – who married American artist Andrew back in September 2014 – recently opened up about becoming a parent, telling Hello!: “Everybody says, Your life will never be the same, but I didnt expect to feel so chilled and relaxed about life.
“My husband and I love being parents and Aaliyah makes us so happy. Shes fun, kind and affectionate – and a mummys girl.”
