New Year’s can be a great time to go shopping, particularly with many deals still on offer from the Boxing Day sales.

The only problem is that many stores are set to have shorter opening hours during New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

To avoid disappointment you should make sure you know when your local shops will be open during the New Year period.

We have put together all of the information you need to know about the Debenhams opening times for New Year.

Pedestrians pass the entrance to a Debenhams store on Oxford Street in London, U.K., on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012. Debenhams Plc, the U.K.'s second-largest department-store chain, rose the most in more than 2 1/2 years in London trading after holiday sales beat estimates and the retailer said it expects commodity-cost pressure to ease. Most Debenhams shops will have their normal Sunday opening hours on New Year’s Eve, which varies between stores with most starting between 10am and 12pm.

Debenhams stores will then be closed on New Year’s Day, before returning to their normal weekly opening schedule on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.

These are only rough guidelines of Debenhams opening hours and it’s advised that you check the Debenhams store locator for the most accurate opening times for your local shop.
