A teacher and mum-of-two accused of having sex with teenage pupils is now being sued by some of the boys’ parents.
Nicole Dufault, 38, is awaiting trial for having with sex with six 14 and 15-year-old students at Columbia High School, Maplewood, New Jersey.

Dufault is alleged to have had sex with them at the school and her car, and reportedly filmed herself giving one of the boys oral sex while another student was nearby.
She also allegedly had sex with at least one of the teens five times times in her classroom.
And now three civil lawsuits have been filed against her seeking damages, claiming she coerced the boys into performing oral sex.
The lawsuits also claim she pressured them due to her authority as a teacher and caused emotional distress and psychological injury.
One complaint filed by the parents of two of the teens seeks one million dollars compensation and punitive damages.

It says Dufault had oral sex and intercourse with both boys who were ‘intellectually disabled’ and ‘vulnerable to sexual harassment.’
A third student claims the language arts tutor invited him and other youngsters to hang out in her classroom.
She allegedly used the school computer to change their records so they would not be caught skipping class.
The suit says Dufault ‘spoke with them about lewd and sexual actions, brushed up again their bodies and touched intimate and personal parts of their bodies in front of other students in the social group.’
It also says she engaged in sexual acts with them which were filmed.

A third lawsuit says Dufault had various sex sessions with a fourth student at school and in her car.
The allegations have also been filed against Dufault’s former employer, South Orange Maplewood School District.
She was arrested in July 2014 after a student showed a mobile phone copy of the alleged sex tape to her headmaster.

Dufault claims a ‘frontal lobe syndrome’ after brain surgery left her helpless against the advances of the students.
Lawyer Tim Smith said after she was charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child: ‘It’s rendered her defenceless to overaggressive behaviour, and that is exactly what she was exposed to.’

The alleged sex sessions went on with the boys for a year.
Prosecutor Gina Iosim said after Dufault’s arrest: ‘Some students witnessed her in sexual acts with others.’
Dufault reportedly filed for divorce from her husband Drew in July 2013.
School district spokeswoman Suzanne Turner said the allegations in the lawsuits were ‘deeply disturbing.’
The school is not allowed to ‘publicly discuss personnel or individual student matters, ongoing litigation, or other issues requiring confidentiality,’ she added.
