While the festive period may have only just finished, many of us already have our eyes set on the next school holiday.
The February half term is a one week break from school that takes place between the start of the new year and Easter.
It’s a short break, but one that many kids and parents will be counting down to so that they can enjoy some more time off.
Fortunately the kids won’t have to wait too long as the next school break is just over a month away.

When is February half term 2018?
Most schools across the UK will break up on either the week starting 12th February or 19th February 2018.
Different councils and regions will be breaking up at different times and holiday periods can vary in Scotland, Wales and Ireland, so it’s advised that you check the exact dates with your local council or find out on the GOV.UK website.
The half term will only be for one week, but you won’t have to wait long for another school holiday.
Once the February half term finishes it will be just over a month until UK schoolchildren break up again for the Easter holidays.
The two-week break will begin on either the 26th March or 30th March depending on your borough.
