In the footage, which was posted on Facebook, Davidson can be heard saying: ‘Seriously, seriously, you’re gonna stand there on the food with your boots?’
She claimed they said, ‘what’s the problem, what’s the problem?’. At one point, the man says the employees will wash the fish.
Davidson added: ‘If you’ve done that, imagine what they’re doing behind closed doors. I’ve been eating from that place as far as I can remember, and I’m sick to my stomach just thinking about it.’
She said she would not return to the market after what she had witnessed.
A Hung Kee Fish official told PIX 11 that the man doesn’t work for them, and had been called in to fix a problem with their electrics.
He claimed the fish the man stepped on were thrown out and not sold. However, this cannot be confirmed.
