On Thursday Prince Harry and Meghan Markle undertook their third royal engagement as a couple – on a visit to the Welsh city of Cardiff.
The royal pair first headed to Cardiff Castle, before paying a visit to Star Hub, to take a look at some of the cultural events that go on there.
Meghan and Harry unfortunately ended up being a little late to their royal engagement, due to a delay on a Great Western Railway train. The delay ended up leaving them an hour behind schedule. Welcome to British public transport Meghan!
But when they eventually did make it to the Welsh city, they were met with hoardes of excited crowds at Cardiff Castle. Many of the fans had been there for hours, for a glimpse of the adorable couple.
The pair were quick to greet the waiting royal fans when they arrived. And Meghan and Harry spent almost half an hour with them, despite being behind schedule.
But of course, they were eventually ushered towards the entrance of the Cardiff landmark, to begin their tour of the castle.
The pair began to make their way to the door, before Meghan quickly veered off course. The royal-to-be seemed determined to get to one awaiting fan in particular, whom she hadn’t yet had a chance to meet.
And it seems she was keen to chat to the little girl – whose part of the crowd she and Harry had been forced to miss out – because of one particular similarity between them.

The little girl was holding up a sign that read ‘My name is Meghan too’. And clearly, Harry’s Meghan couldn’t resist saying hello after the sweet message.
Rebecca English, a royal correspondent, shared the sweet video of Meghan delaying the pair’s visit to the castle. And many fans took to the video to profess how kind Meghan seems.
One fan wrote, ‘Prince Harry had to drag her away. She is a people person. Love it!’ While another said, ‘Lovely of Meghan. Sweet.’
For her visit to the city of Cardiff, Meghan Markle made sure to pay homage to Wales with her outfit choices.
The royal-to-be wore a coat by British brand Stella McCartney. But she also wore a pair of jeans by Huit Denim. Huit Denim is a small Welsh brand, that is credited with boosting employment for the small town of Cardigan.
It seems clear that Meghan is keen to champion local fashion within her role with the British monarchy – just another reason why we love her…
