If you haven’t yet seen the millennial pink trend, where have you been?
Even if you haven’t heard of it, you’ve definitely seen it at least nine times on your way to work. It’s everywhere.
And now you can even drink the pink stuff as Starbucks has introduced a pastel tea latte.
But there’s a catch: it’s only available in Japanese branches and, just in case the Instagramable drink had you itching to book a flight, you might want to be quick as it’s only offered through the Valentine’s period.
The latte is made with steamed milk, frothy foam, and Joyful Medley, a new Teavana tea blend. It contains fruit flavours like orange, peach, apple, and strawberry along with jasmine tea.
The pink drink is perfect for those with a sweet tooth, and even better with white chocolate syrup, it’s reported by those lucky enough to try it.
Plenty of wise-thinking Instagrammers are sharing the aesthetically-pleasing drink, with one review saying: ‘It’s a shame they don’t serve this drink with a glass. The color is so lovely and it tastes like strawberries and apples’.
Other reviewers said it was tasty as heck. It’s alright for some.
Proving that Japan gets the best stuff, Starbucks also debuted the Sakura Blossom Frappuccino last year.

The similar-colored pastel pink beverage was topped with pieces of shaved chocolate ‘petals’ and was reported to be the first drink at the coffee shop offering crunchy rices pieces on top.
A hot version was also made available, with chocolate flakes that melt into the cherry blossom-flavored drink which came after McDonald’s introduced a similar one.
Do we really need more reasons to rush to Japan?
