There’s nothing we love more than a hilarious Photoshopping fail – and the latest issue of Vanity Fair is here to provide them all.
Some unfortunate editing mistakes in the US magazine’s new ‘Hollywood’ issue have been subject to a few jokes recently.
The cover features some of Hollywood’s elite, including Reese Witherspoon, Robert De Niro, Nicole Kidman and Tom Hanks.
The shot, taken by Annie Leibovitz, celebrates a stonking year in film – with the cover, in their words, showcasing “12 extraordinary stars, one very momentous year”.
But customers seem to have picked up on the rather noticeable Photoshop failures on the cover, as opposed to the famous actors and actresses gracing it.
If you look closely, one of most obvious editing errors happen on Reese Witherspoon’s legs. We’re counting, one, two…three?
The Hollywood legend appears to be sporting three enviably toned legs – two crossed over, with one supporting her from behind! Now, we knew she was a good actress, but who knew she could sprout a third leg too?!

Reese herself has taken to her Twitter account to poke a bit of innocent fun at the glaring mistake.

In response to a Tweet mentioning it, she wrote, “Well, I guess everybody knows now…I have 3 legs. I hope you can still accept me for who I am. (and I will never apologize for snuggling @Oprah .. if you get the opportunity, I highly recommend it;)”
Other eagle-eyed fans have also spotted another mistake on a picture within the magazine.
In the image, A-lister Oprah Winfrey is sat with one hand on her hip, one hand on her lap…..and one hand on Reese’s hip?

And luckily, the awkward Photoshop mishap was also laughed off by Hollywood legend Oprah, in response to Reese’s Tweet.

We always knew these stars had a great sense of humour…
Many fans couldn’t help but head to Twitter and Instagram to joke about the mistakes.
Commenting on Vanity Fair’s picture of the cover, one wrote, “Love the extra leg on Reese.” While another agreed, “Annie is such a good photographer that she captured all of Reese’s three legs!”
And, all editing issues aside, the striking cover certainly showcases some of Hollywood’s most celebrated stars.
