Did you spot the mistake?
If you’re working for the royal family, making sure everything is correct and accurate is number one priority.
But unfortunately, one of the recent tweets from the official Kensington Palace twitter account contained a glaring error – likely leaving the palace feeling rather red faced.
Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were visiting Sweden. In the evening, the pair met with the Prime Minister of the country, and his wife.
The palace tweeted out the news. They wrote, ‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge meet Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven and his wife Sulla Lofven #RoyalVisitSweden.’
However, awkwardly, the Prime Minister’s wife’s name is actually Ulla – eek!
We’re sure it was a totally honest mistake – and these things happen, right? But it seems Twitter users were certainly not happy about the typo, taking to the now-deleted posted to point out the error.
One annoyed follower wrote, “Her name is Ulla.”
While another Twitter user wrote, “Embarrassing. You should have proofread the tweet before you published it. Her name is Ulla.”
Luckily, the Tweet was deleted in double-quick time.
It was then replaced with the correct message, reading “The Duke and Duchess meet Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and his wife Ulla Löfven at the Residence of the British Ambassador #RoyalVisitSweden”
The Duke and Duchess today continue their tour of Sweden, and will embark on engagements surrounding topics close to their hearts.

The royal couple – who have left Prince George and Princess Charlotte behind for this trip – will first be heading to the Karolinska Institute. The pair will discover Sweden’s work with mental health, a cause they champion themselves.
They’ll then make their way to Matteusskolan, a local comprehensive school, to take part in a mental health activity session.
In the afternoon, Kate and Wills will also visit department store, to open an exhibition of UK design and fashion.
It looks as though the royal couple have got a pretty packed few days ahead of them then!
