Motorists were shocked when an overpass collapsed in Brazil’s capital Brasilia leaving a gaping hole.
First reports suggested no-one was injured during the collapse but rescuers have to check underneath which housed a car park.

City Governor Rodrigo Rollemberg explained the city’s infrastructure was falling apart.
He said: ‘Brasilia is a city that is aging. It’s a city made of concrete.
The BBC reported that since his government had carried out reinforcement work on some stretches of the city’s main roads, but this was not one of them.
The collapse happened around 11:30am local time and four cars were crushed underneath.
Globo TV said one driver, who was not in his vehicle at the time, said it all happened in under five minutes.
A restaurant, Churrascaria Floresta, also used the space underneath and was partly destroyed.
