The Snapchat community is already grappling with the indignity of having to swipe right instead of left to see friends’ snaps and stories following a recent update.
Now some users have been delivered another brutal body blow after a key feature stopped working properly.
People are taking to Twitter and frantically asking Google for answers after noticing problems with their Snap Map.
Normally, this ever-so-slightly-creepy feature lets you share your location with your Snapchat friends and view their location on a map.
But some users have claimed they can’t see themselves on the map, let alone the people they want to stalk.
Snapchat’s Twitter support account has been clobbered with plaintive pleas from furious selfie lovers.
‘My Snap Map says I’m in a different town at my old house,’ one incredulous snapper tweeted.
‘My map doesn’t work. I don’t see other people – just me. I tried to log out and log in but it’s the same,’ another raged.
‘I enter the map and it only shows me when I know for a fact there are multiple other people on the map,’ a bereft bloke added.
One person wrote to Snapchat Support with the simple message: ‘Please help me.’

Snapchat suffered problems last night, with some users unable to log into the app.
It has also been at the centre of a growing maelstrom of rage after releasing a wildly unpopular app update which has consigned Snapchatters to a world of pain.
The update caused massed wailing and gnashing of teeth after making users swipe right to see a new ‘Friends’ page where you can see chums’ content.
There is also a new beefed up Discover section to see content produced by professionals or celebs.
