A furious dad whose daughter died in the Parkland school shooting said how ‘pissed’ he was at losing his daughter as he called for greater protection for schools.
Andrew Pollack delivered a blistering attack during a White House questioning and listening session held in the wake of the shooting that killed his girl Meadow.

Addressing Trump, he said: ‘I’m pissed, because of my daughter, and I’m not going to see her again.
‘She is not here.
‘She is not here, she is in the King David cemetary, that’s where I go to see her.
‘We are here because our daughter was taken from us. She was shot nine times on the third floor.
‘We as a country have failed our children. This should not have happened.’
Pollack highlighted tightened airport security measures which have prevented repeat terror attacks, and told of his anger at seeing a security guard protecting an elevator in the Department for Education HQ.
He added: ‘But we leave it so that some animal can walk into a school and shoot our children.
‘The only thing that needs done is protecting our children in school. It’s simple, it’s not difficult.
‘9/11 happened and we fixed it. I am not going to sleep until we fix this.’
He spoke after dad whose son narrowly escaped being killed in the Florida high school shooting called on Trump to increase the age limit at which people can buy guns.
Corey Gruber, whose son Justin was in one of the classrooms shot up at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School said: ‘People are dying and we have to stop this.
‘If they are not old enough to buy a beer they should not be able tobuy a gun at 18 years old.
‘That is just common sense.’
He cited the example of Israel, where people cannot buy guns until 21, and where they must undergo training.
Trump began the session by vowing he would take action, saying: ‘We are going to do something about this horrible situation that is going on.
‘We are going to figure it out together.
‘We are going to have very strong background checks.’
Gunman Nikolas Cruz, 19, killed 14 students and three school workers at the school in Parkland, Florida with an AR-15 assault rifle.
Broward County Sheriff’s office say he has admitted the killing, and he has since been charged with 17 counts of pre-meditated murder.
