Heavy snow has continued to fall in London throughout today with more of the Beast from the East’s white stuff on the way.
A yellow warning is in place for the city with no end in sight to the severe weather until 9am on Saturday.

There’s still a lot of snow heading to London, but ice is likely to be the worst factor for the capital.
This afternoon there are delays and suspended services on the Tubes while buses continue to battle through the streets, albeit at a slower pace than normal.
Here’s what Transport for London is currently saying about the situation on London Underground.
Bakerloo Line: Minor delays Queens Park to Harrow & Wealdstone due to an earlier signal failure. Good service on the rest of the line.
Central Line: Severe delays between North Acton and Ealing Broadway / West Ruislip and between Leytonstone and Epping / Hainault and minor delays on the rest of the line due to earlier faulty trains.
District Line: Minor delays Earls Court to Wimbledon, Richmond and Ealing Broadway due to an earlier signal failure at West Kensington.
Jubilee Line: Severe delays due to an earlier track fault at Kilburn.
London Overground: Severe delays Euston to Watford Junction due to signal failure. SEVERE DELAYS Barking to Gospel Oak due to faulty train. Severe delays Surrey Quays to West Croydon / Clapham Junction / Crystal Palace due a points failure at Sydenham. MINOR DELAYs Surrey Quays to New Cross SEVERE DELAYS between Stratford and Richmond and MINOR DELAYS Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction due to a faulty train
Piccadilly Line: Severe delays due to emergency engineering work at King’s Cross earlier. Tickets are being accepted on local buses.
