It’s been confirmed that Loose Women‘s Coleen Nolan will be baring it all for charity, she announces her involvement in the all-female Full Monty.
The hilarious star will be joined by Victoria Derbyshire, TOWIE’s Meghan McKenna, actress Helen Lederer and singer Michelle Heaton for the two-part programme, which will air in the Spring.
Ruth Madoc, Sally Dexter, and Sarah-Jane Crawford will also take part.
Before stripping down for a good cause, the eight female celebs will visit the Moulin Rouge for inspiration (ooh), and get some costume tips from Julien McDonald.
And, like their male counterparts before them, the ladies will undress at the end of the show – importantly, to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Of her new role, Coleen confessed, “The boys were so amazing last year and I loved watching the show from home, so I can’t quite believe I’ll be taking part myself this time with a group of fabulous ladies who, like me, have all been touched by the shadows cancer casts over us.
“Although I’m terrified about what I’ve let myself in for, considering I won’t even wear a bikini on the beach let alone get my kit off in front of 2500 people and millions at home, but getting women to talk about breast cancer checks is way more important than any body hang-ups or nerves I’ve got.
“We are determined to give the audience a show they will never forget and hopefully raise awareness that could help save lives.”
Hear, hear! We can’t wait to see the show.
Live on a recent Loose Women episode, Coleen had hinted that she may take part.
The 52-year-old and her fellow panellists Christine Lampard, Michelle McManus, and Saira Khan, were joined by guest Ashley Banjo.
The Dancing On Ice judge chatted about last year’s ‘The Real Full Monty’ campaign, which saw a group of male celebs, including Harry Judd and Alexandra Armstrong, strip in order to raise money for, and awareness of, testicular cancer.
He spoke about the idea of Coleen joining the all-female line-up, saying, “We had a chat, didn’t we Coleen?
“We had a chat about how cancer isn’t something that only affects men, it affects women as well. I’ve done ‘The Real Full Monty’ for men and we were talking about expanding it.”
“And we were saying, ‘Wouldn’t it be good to get a women ‘Full Monty’ together?'”
Ashley continued, “I think it would be incredible. It is going to happen and I’m still… I think Coleen’s over the edge.”
It seems you convinced her Ashley!

Of course, it’s not the first time the Loose Women have stripped down to raise awareness of an important cause.
Last year, the cast of the ITV show published a photo of themselves in their bikinis for their ‘Body Stories’ campaign. The campaign was done in order to promote body confidence. And it was met with a hugely positive reaction from fans.

We can’t wait to see the women proudly stepping up to do their bit to raise awareness of women’s cancers this time around.
