When it comes to celeb splits, Lee Mead and Denise Van Outen’s is pretty high up there in the list of the most shocking.
The pair divorced in 2013 after four years of marriage – and share a daughter together, Betsy, 7.
Four years on though, and it looks as though Lee has been able to put his heartache behind him to find love again.
The West End performer, 43, recently shared that he’s got himself a new girlfriend.
Speaking to The Sun, he shared that a year ago he met the young mum, Issy, in a cafe after picking up his daughter from school.
“We went to a local coffee shop and Issy was there with her four year-old son.
“We got on really well, but it was a while before I plucked up the courage to ask her on a date.”
He went on to discuss his new beau, revealing that she’s not actually in showbiz like he is.

“She’s a lovely woman and she’s a parent as well, which I think helps. She’s based in Kent and she’s not in the same business as me; I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing!” Reflecting on his single status, Lee confessed that while he’d been happily single for a while, he’s glad he’s now met that special someone.
“I’m not one to rush into relationships and I was single for six years, but it’s nice to have found someone.
“We’ve been together just under a year and it’s going really well. We had a nice weekend together recently and we’re very happy.”

Lee Mead is famous for starring in West End productions including Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat, but is now starring in BBC’s Holby City.
Denise has also found love again after her divorce from Lee, with City trader Eddie Boxshall, who she met in 2014.
And speaking to Hello magazine in 2017, she confessed that there was an instand connection between her and her beau.
“With Eddie I knew within ten minutes – we just clicked. All my best times with him are when it’s just the two of us.”
