A married middle school science teacher has been arrested after allegedly sending nude photos to a 14-year-old boy over Snapchat and having sex with him in her car.
Stephanie Peterson, 26, was arrested on Wednesday after the teenager broke down and told his parents about the relationship.

She had been a science teacher at the teenager’s school in Florida since August 2016.
But she handed in her resignation on Monday and a School District spokesperson said this was for ‘personal reasons’.
Court documents show that the victim said Peterson told him that he could not tell anybody about their relationship, which began in November 2017, or he would be in trouble.
She is accused of sending him nude photos on Snapchat, including naked images of herself in the shower. The two would also send photos of their genitals to each other, the documents said.
Peterson would allegedly pick the student up in her car late at night to have sex at her house, before dropping him back home at around 1am, the Daytona Beach News Journal reports.

The victim told police that Peterson had been his science teacher in the past but their sexual relationship did not start until he had moved to the eighth grade – the equivalent of year 9 in the UK.
She would reportedly tell him things about her estranged husband when he visited her classroom, he said.
He also told police that the teacher would buy him cannabis and equipment for smoking it, and that his schools grades have suffered as a result of the relationship.
Peterson had sex with him in her car on her driveway and performed oral sex on him numerous times, the victim said.
She filed for divorce from her firefighter husband, Brandon Ferri, 31, on February 12.
She is being held on two counts of lewd or lascivious battery and one count of transmission of harmful materials to a minor and her bond has been set at $25,000 (£18,180).
