A young girl was caught on camera being attacked by a lion this week after the animal turned on her in an enclosure.
The child was inside the cage with a number of other youngsters when the incident took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

According to local media, the predator had been brought into the enclosure as entertainment for the young crowd.
However a clip caught the moment the animal had had enough.
Turning suddenly, it swiped at one young girl – pinning her to the ground.
Children and adults can be heard screaming as staff fight to pull the six-month-old lion off of the child.
Akhbar 5 later reported that the girl escaped without injury as the animal had been declawed.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
