German airline Lufthansa has unveiled an a la carte menu that consists of seven dishes.
The gourmet grub is even available to economy passengers, who can indulge in a spot of fine-dining for an additional charge.
A wide variety of different culinary delights can be ordered at 36,000 feet.

The menu draws inspiration from many different destinations – including France and Germany.
Main meals include grilled steak and spicy Thai curry.
Those looking for something healthy have the option of ordering an Asian vitality menu with quinoa.
Passengers who want smaller portions can opt for bento boxes of sushi or Bavarian snacks.

Unlike typical plane food that's served on a tray, Lufthansa’s is delivered on classy porcelain.
All these lavish extras don’t come cheap, as you can expect to pay between £17-£29 for the different dishes.
The newly-launched meals can be purchased on all of Lufthansa’s intercontinental flights from Munich and Frankfurt.
Customers can place their food orders up to 24 hours before departure.
