A man punched a railway worker in the head after he was told there were no more services that night and it was the end of the line.

He punched the assistant several times in the face and head for announcing ‘Sorry, it’s midnight, there are no more trains and you’ll have to get off.”
Today British transport Police issued a CCTV photo of the attacker after the assault at Shoebury station in Essex.
It happened shortly after midnight on February 5th but they have only released details now as they have had to spend weeks trawling through CCTV footage to come up with the picture of him.
A BTP spokesman said: ‘A member of staff asked a man to leave a train as there were no further services going to London.

‘The man then became aggressive and punched the member of staff multiple times to the head. The member of staff received some swelling to the left eye as a result of
the punches.
‘CCTV images are now being released in connection to this assault. Officers believe the man shown may have information which can help them with the investigation.
