When is VidCon Europe 2018, who will be there and how to get tickets?

Fancy yourself as a video-maker extraordinaire? Looking for a way to enhance your clickability or monetise your projects?

Well, there’s an event you should really consider attending – VidCon, which is coming to Europe this month.

VidCon is an American organisation which intends to help video-makers network and their next big event, designed to bring together ‘aspiring industry leaders’, is coming up soon.

So when is VidCon Europe, where is it and how can you make sure you’re there?

VidCon Europe is being held between Thursday 22 March and Saturday 24 March.

The location is Amsterdam, the Netherlands, at the Movenpick Hotel. The events are divided up according to whether you’re a creator or industry insider, too.

The industry track runs from 10am on Thursday until the end of the day on Saturday, while the creator track starts at 2pm on Friday.

Tickets, which vary in price depending on what you do, currently range from €129 (£114) to €399 (£352).

The cheaper ticket prices are for students but you must have an ID to prove you’re a student when you go to the event.

You can get tickets by registering here.

All sorts of people attend VidCon, but mostly the attendees are new and established creators and influencers, producers, writers, editors, YouTube addicts, marketers, agency execs, brand strategists, audience development professionals and business owners.

The main guests and speakers are Matthew and Stephanie Patrick, Rob Sandie, Gavin McGarry, Jackson Williams, Anna Akana and Ian Hecox, all of whom know their stuff when it comes to online video platforms.
