Melania Trump trips on White House lawn as she prepares to board helicopter

Flotus Melania Trump took a tumble yesterday as she walked across the White House lawn with her husband.

The First Lady stumbled as she prepared to board the Marine One helicopter taking her and husband Donald to an opioid crisis summit in Manchester, NH.

But her husband President Trump was there to grab onto her, and ensure Melania did not end up flat on her face.

The moment was captured on video, with both Trumps having their backs to the cameras at the time.

Shortly after, Melania appeared to have regained her composure as she addressed the opioid summit.

She gave her husband a hug and kiss as she welcomed him on stage – with Donald Trump subsequently hailing the ‘incredible’ job Melania is doing as First Lady.

The loved-up displays come after months of rumors about the state of the Trumps’ marriage.

Melania was said to be furious after details of her husband’s alleged extra-marital affair with porn star Stormy Daniels emerged.

The reemergence of the alleged 2006 fling, which Trump denies, saw Melania disappear from public view for several weeks.

She traveled to her husband’s first State of the Union address alone, amid rumors she also stayed apart from him in Washington D.C. hotels for several nights a week.

But the Trumps apparent truce could be short-lived, with Daniels set to give a tell-all interview about the ‘affair’ on 60 Minutes this Sunday.
