A little girl had to be pulled from a ‘stolen’ car that was apparently driven into a river.
The dramatic rescue by boat happened after the silver Mini was allegedly stolen with the youngster still sitting inside it.

It is thought to have been taken from the Cardigan area in west Wales at about 3.30pm on Monday, before ending up in the nearby River Teifi.
Rescuers in lifeboats managed to safely remove the three-year-old girl from the vehicle, and she has received medical attention.
The girl’s mum and other family members had been among the people posting desperate appeals on Facebook to find the car.
Catrin Miles, who who represents the Teifi ward on Cardigan Town Council, said: ‘It’s a very worrying time.
‘The rescue services got into action so quickly.

‘The coastguards are throwing absolutely everything at it.’
Another local, who wished to remain anonymous, said: ‘The road has been blocked off and the helicopter was above.
‘People are shocked – it’s a surprise for a small town like ourselves. Nothing happens, it’s a big shock.’
A Wales Air Ambulance joined Dyfed-Powys Police and Milford Haven Coastguard at the scene.
Police said: ‘Following a call at 3.30pm we made enquiries as to whereabouts of a silver Mini, last seen in Cardigan near the old Scout Hall.

‘During a search the vehicle was located in the River Teifi, Cardigan.
‘A child has been removed from the vehicle and is receiving medical attention.’
A Coastguard spokesman said: ‘We have coastguard teams and a lifeboat assisting Dyfed-Powys Police with an incident on a river in Cardigan.’
