HOLIDAY INSPIRATION: TripAdvisor have just announced the top 10 destinations in the world
If you’re looking for some holiday inspiration, check out TripAdvisor’s top-rated holiday destinations.
The travel review website has today revealed the world’s best holiday hotspots at their 2018 Travellers’ Choice Awards.
Paris has been named the top location, based of the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings gathered over a 12-month period.

With fantastic food, cafe culture and famous attractions like the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, the city of love rarely disappoints according to reviews on TripAdvisor.
Interestingly the second best-rated location was London. That’s right, our capital city made it to the second spot at the tenth annual travel awards.
Rome scooped third place, while Bali came in fourth and Crete in fifth.

TripAdvisor has named the most stunning stretches of sand in the world – and it's Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean and Brazil that take the top two spots in the review site's Travellers' Choice Awards 2016

New York, a long-time favourite with travellers worldwide, slipped down to tenth place this year from fifth last year.
While Barcelona, Prague, Marrakech and Istanbul – came in at sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth respectively.
London was also rated the best place to visit in Britain and the second best destination in Europe.
Laura Citron, CEO London & Partners, the Mayor of London’s official promotional agency for city, said, “It’s wonderful to see that visitors continue to be drawn in by London’s extraordinary mix of history and heritage, cutting-edge contemporary culture alongside an array of major events and festivities.
“This year promises another jam-packed programme of blockbuster exhibitions, shows and exciting new openings to tempt visitors of all ages, interests and budgets”

EXOTIC: Bali in Indonesia came in fourth place at the prestigious awards
European destinations dominate the world’s top ten this year with seven of the top ten including; Paris, London, Rome, Crete, Barcelona, Prague and Istanbul.
“Travellers planning a visit to one of the top 10 destinations in the world will get the best value in Istanbul, with the average nightly hotel rate on TripAdvisor coming in at £78,” commented TripAdvisor spokesperson, Hayley Coleman.
To help travellers plan their next trip to the world’s top ten destinations, TripAdvisor has identified highly-rated value hotels that cost less than the destination average.
