SCANTILY-CLAD: Vietjet Air has been dubbed as the bikini airline
Vietjet Air – who pledged to launch in the UK in 2016 – secured its name for its stunts featuring scores of scantily-clad women.
The Vietnamese airline published an annual calendar, that features women in bikinis posing as cabin crew members.

VIETNAM: The airline pledged to launch in the UK in 2016
The airline, which launched in 2011, has now unveiled a new flight route from Vietnam to India.
But in 2012, Vietjet Air caused controversy after launching a sexy stunt across the globe.
As part of a PR campaign, five flight attendants were dressed in bikinis while dancing for passengers mid-flight.
The airline was later fined 62,000 rupees (£678.20) because it did not get permission from aviation authorities.
Despite this, the airline hasn’t seen a decline, in fact according to the BBC, the airline has seen a 20% increase in trading in 2017.

It is thought Vietjet Air could overtake the countries flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines.
Sadly, there are no current plans to connect to the UK, so passengers who want to see a glimpse of flight attendants in their swimwear would need to travel to Vietnam.
It isn’t the first time that bikini-clad women have attempted to take to the skies.
