American tech giant Apple is reportedly planning on launching a new premium subscription feature which will give users the opportunity to access a variety of news outlets in one single app.
The new service, first reported by Bloomberg, comes just a month after the Silicon Valley company acquired Texture, a digital magazine service that allows subscribers access to 200 magazines for $9.99 (£6.98) a month.
Apple is reportedly planning to integrate Texture into its existing Apple News app, and give users the option to access hundreds of newspapers and magazines for a subscription fee.

Apple has had limited success with its news services applications. Its original Newsstand app was killed off in 2015, while its iPad-only publication, The Daily, was shelved after just two years.
The Cupertino company currently offers access to a variety of news services through its Apple News app, however, many of these require individual subscriptions.

The revelation of Apples upcoming feature comes just a day after a leaked memo was published by Bloomberg which showed the tech company warning its employees from leaking sensitive information, threatening them with everything from loss of employment to arrest.
