Eek – if you love a beauty bargain, youre sure to love this exciting news. Poundland have announced that they are launching their very own dupe version of the now world-famous Tangle Teezer!
Yep – thats right. Soon youll be able to get your hands on a copy of the famous detangling device, for a fraction of the price.
The original Tangle Teezer usually sells for £10 – but Poundlands version will, of course, be available for just £1! The more affordable version of the brush will be available in two colours – pink and purple.
The budget retailer told The Sun, “For £1 youll never get in a tangle again. Were excited to be selling the famous de-tangling hairbrush available in stores now.”
Famous for helping women across the nation get out those pesky knots in their hair, the Tangle Teezer has quickly risen to fame, becoming a staple in almost every womans collection.
The nifty little brush is also much-loved by celebrities too, including Emma Watson, Victoria Beckham – and even the Duchess of Cambridge!
But the idea had humble beginnings. Inventor Shaun Pulfrey originally tried his luck on gruelling BBC show, Dragons Den, pitching the idea of the tangle teezer to the likes of Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis.
However, the idea was swiftly rubbished by the dragons, who didnt think that the hairdressing industry required a product like it.
But luckily, Shaun went on to prove the naysayers wrong – and now runs a multimillion pound business selling the brush – and more products – to customers around the UK.
However, exciting as the Poundland dupe of the famous product is, some loyal fans may be keen to stick to the tried-and-tested version.
Recently, the Tangle Teezer brand have launched new product, The Wet Detangler. The brush is designed to help detangle knots after a bath or shower – when they can often be at their toughest to sort out.
