NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index was trading 1.47 per cent down at 13,552 around 02:20 pm (IST) with HCL Technologies (down 6.89 per cent) as the top loser.
Shares of MindTree (down 1.70 per cent), Infibeam Incorporation (down 1.64 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 1.43 per cent), Wipro (down 1.42 per cent), KPIT Technologies (down 0.77 per cent) and Infosys (down 0.17 per cent) were also in the red.
However, Tata Elxsi (up 1.29 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (up 1.11 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.25 per cent) were in the green around that time.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 19 points at 10,699, while the BSE Sensex was up 9 points at 35,186.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
Idea Cellular, YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, ICICI Bank, InterGlobe Aviation and Vedanta were among the most traded stocks on the National Stock Exchange.
