LIBERATING: Would you strip off on a nudist holiday?
It seems we're not so prude after all as it's revealed more than half (59%) of UK residents would get butt naked on holiday.
And searches for nudist holidays have risen by 52%, according to research by lastminute.com.
To meet demand, a naked version of Airbnb has launched. The clothing-optional holiday site called NaturistBnB, is making it easier for adventurous tourists to get a full-body tan.
Nudist beaches of the world
There are hundreds of nudist beaches situated all over the world, here we present a collection of stunning nudist beaches that have some really eye catching views57820a16eaef76d5249423f7
The site was founded by couple Petri and Minna Karjalainen, who previously tried and failed to host a nudist Airbnb homestay.
The couple like to holiday naked themselves and wanted to make it easier for fellow naturists.
Petri told CNN: "I think it's a really cool opportunity to go to these interesting cities and meet some like minded people and stay together with them.
"We started to think it would actually be cool if there was a booking site, just like Airbnb, but dedicated to this lifestyle.
"On our website all of the properties are targeted for naturist lifestyle practising people."

NaturistBnB has already been running for two months and have properties in the South of France, Spain, the Netherlands, Canada, the US, England and Wales.
The properties are particularly well-suited to nudists. While some feature large remote gardens, others are rooms within nudist communities.
The website provides a list of rules to help inexperienced nudists. These include things like “make eye contact” to avoid awkward staring and "always take a towel" to sit on.

Owners Petri and Minna also stress that a nudist environment “should be a safe, nonsexual space”.
On the website they wrote: “The whole point of going nude in a safe environment is being comfortable in your natural skin.
“So please, dont stare or you will be considered a perv.”

HOUSE RULES: Nudists must stick to a list of rules when holidaying naked
Surprisingly around 8% of Brits have already been on a nudist holiday. However, you probably wouldn't know it as a whopping 33% of self-confessed nudists admit they keep it secret from friends, family and colleagues.
Andrew Welch, British Naturism, the UKs organisation for Naturists said: “We know that people are far more willing to try social nudity and so its great to have confirmation that more and more of us are letting go of any hang-ups and are feeling comfortable in the skin were in.
"For those visiting a Naturist/Nudist beach for the first time, the best advice is to relax, enjoy the sensation of the sun, breeze and sea on your whole body and realise that no one is worried about how you look.”
