With excitement growing for the Royal Wedding, Meghan Markle has arrived in London – in the form of a waxwork at Madame Tussauds.
A replica of the 36-year-old has been unveiled as part of a new exhibition which sees her stood beside husband-to-be Prince Harry, meaning fans will be able to join the couple to celebrate their upcoming marriage.
Meghans model sees her dressed in the sold-out green P.A.R.O.S.H. dress she famously wore for the announcement of her engagement to Harry in November and she also sports a replica of the ring that Harry designed for her.
The waxwork features a lot of attention to detail, with even the freckles on her face included, and fans have been left stunned by the incredible likeness to the woman herself.
“Wow I thought this was a real picture,” one commented on social media, whilst another said: “They got her So right! Wow really fantastic”
And one added: “Amazing!!! Looked so real!! Well Done!!”
Fans of Meghan and Harry can join their doppelgängers at Madame Tussauds for a special stag and hen themed event on 18 May, the eve of their wedding.
The venue will then live stream on the big day as the figures make their official arrival – plus anyone with the name Meghan or Harry will be given free entry for one day only.
Edward Fuller, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London, says: “Excitement ahead of the Royal Wedding is reaching fever pitch and we have been inundated with questions about when people can finally meet Their Royal Likenesses.
“There is a lot of love out there for Meghan and Harry and were following their lead by inviting the great British public to join the couple in their wedding celebrations here at Madame Tussauds London.”
A waxwork of Meghan will also be arriving at Madame Tussauds in New York.
Meghan will become Harrys wife when the couple tie the knot at Windsor Castle on 19 May.
