Monday morning viewers of ITVs Good Morning Britain were left in shock, as popular presenter Carol Vorderman debuted a brand new look for the breakfast show.
Fans are used to seeing the former Countdown host with natural blondey-brown locks. So viewers were inevitably surprised when Carol showed off a bold new colour!
For her interview on the show, Carol had dyed her hair a brand new, bright blonde – a huge change from her usual look.
The 57-year-old also surprising viewers by opting for a pair of stylish square glasses. Carol Vorderman is usually seen sans-spectacles – so its no wonder GMB viewers were floored by her new look.
Unfortunately, some were left less than impressed by Carols new barnet. One wrote on Twitter, Carol looks super weird, whats with that hair? #gmb. And another agreed, saying, @GMB what has @carolvorders done to her hair? Deffo prefer the brunette.
However, the vast majority thought the TV host looked amazing – with some even claiming she looked way younger than her 58 years.

Aside from her dramatic transformation, Carol appeared on the programme to discuss the upcoming Pride of Britain awards.

She revealed that nominations for the inspiring awards are now open – allowing anyone to nominate a person who has made a difference or an amazing achievement.
Carol said, “I cant stress enough how important this is. We need the nominations”.
The winners will be announced in the annual awards ceremony in November, which will be broadcast on ITV. Carol regularly hosts the awards – so its likely well see her do the same again this year.
