With the new series of military drama Our Girl set to air next week, it looks like Michelle Keegan has really been getting into character.
The former Coronation Street actress plays Corporal Georgie Lane in the BBC series, but has taken to being a heroine off screen as well after recently saving a woman who collapsed in a restaurant.
Michelle says her time on the show gave her the knowledge to help the woman – who was suffering from low sugar levels – and she used the first-aid skills shes learnt while filming.
Recalling the scary incident, the 30-year-old said she told the waiter to bring a Coke, explaining: “They came over with a bottle and a straw.
“But I knew it was quite dangerous because it could get trapped in her throat. So I threw the straw and put it in a glass. She started sipping it and came around slowly.”
Speaking about how her time on the show has improved her self belief, Michelle added to the Daily Star: “Before Our Girl I would never have done that.
“I would have gone into a panic state. I think the training that I had gave me confidence.”
Meanwhile, having wrapped up filming for the popular series, the telly star recently jetted away on an idyllic holiday for a relaxing break from work.
Sharing some snaps of her getaway – which appear to be of the Greek Island of Mykonos – Mich captioned the beautiful white beaches and blue skies her escape.
But as the actress was relaxing in the sun, her hubby Mark Wright was enjoying a rather different break in Las Vegas for his brother Joshua Wrights stag do.
Having a great time across the pond, Extra presenter Mark posted a load of videos of him and his younger brother dancing in clubs and enjoying themselves at pool parties.
These two are living the life, ey!
