Kate Garraway is known for her Bridget Jones moments, and today was no different as she suffered another awkward blunder on Good Morning Britain.
As the mother-of-two was preparing herself for an interview with some Love Island stars, she found herself in one of their laps after sliding off a giant bean bag.
The hilarious moment began as Kate plonked herself down on the pink bean bag next to hunky male model Charlie Frederick.
Wearing a bright red suit, Kate joked: “When sitting on a giant bean bag, its probably best not to actually dress as the bean bag!”
However, just as she said it, she began sliding off of the bean bag and had to grab Charlies bare leg for some support.
Whilst clinging to Charlie, Kate struggled to pick herself up off the floor and ended up in a fit of giggles with her head in her hands.
The moment was made even more comical by entertainment correspondent, Richard Arnold, who was sat behind Kate in a giant blow up flamingo.
As he struggled to tame the flamingo and Kate continued to giggle, it was down to their co-host Ranvir Singh to take over and conduct the interview with the Love Island stars.
Of course, viewers found the entire segment hilarious and took to Twitter to praise 51-year-old Kate.
“Kate is a gift that keeps giving… You are brilliant Kate… Dont ever change,” one person tweeted, while another wrote: “Omg @kategarraway Kay is hilarious as usual. Bloody brilliant.”
A third person wrote: “Absolutely loved #gmb this morning. The link up with Sweden was brilliant & Kate falling of the beanbag priceless!! Richard on the flamingo … no wordsand we need more Ranvir…she is fab! Great weekend vibes now.”
“GMB Richard and Kate are comedy gold, theyre hilarious @RichardAArnold @kategarraway brilliant,” another added.
However, the Love Island chat wasnt the only time Kate was left flustered during todays show.
The bubbly blonde had to make three wardrobe changes in the first 20 minutes of Good Morning Britain today, and somehow managed to flash a young male producer.
Explaining why she seemed unsettled just minutes after coming on air at 6am, Kate said she initially had a stripey top on which would have created a “strobing effect” had she worn it on camera.
Instead wearing a black top beneath her bright red blazer, she explained: “They said Kates got to change her top! and I didnt have time to go back to the dressing room.
“So I just went out there and Claire our sound girl said Ed, whos very young, avert your eyes, its like a woman only wrinklier,” she joked.
