ROOM WITH AN EWW: This guest is bound to be put off hotel baths for life
Makeup artist Hayley Johnsen forked out a fortune to stay at a fancy hotel.
After paying £226 per night, she expected to be met with a luxurious room.
But sadly, the womans California stay was ruined when she made a discovery in the bathroom.
The most shocking hotel confessions
Anonymous hotel workers have shared their most darkest secrets and most of them will make you feel ill
While having a soak in the tub, Hayley spotted some movement in the water.
On Twitter, she recalled: “As Im sitting there, I see something… Im like what is this tic tac on the floor.
“Well guess the f*** what. It wasnt a tic tac. It was a maggot…
“Hundreds of maggots it seems. Coming directly out of the wall. All over the bathroom.”
If the situation wasnt distressing enough, Hayley claims that the hotel refused to refund her.
When she was allegedly asked to leave the establishment, she decided to call the police.
She said: “I call the cops. Even dispatch was disgusted.
“They send someone out. The cop takes four seconds to look at our room and says no you cant stay here.”
As the police couldnt convince the manager to reimburse the guest, Hayley took matters into her own hand.
She tweeted an account of the situation, which has amassed 2,200 likes over the past week.
As the guests complaint has received so much attention, the hotel has since issued an apology.
Hayley also provided her followers with an update, writing: “As of this morning the refund was issued in full to my boyfriends account. Good work kids.”
