Benchmark equity indices saw a turnaround in fortunes today. Energy, bank, auto, pharma and metal counters buzzed.

Rupee's strength against the dollar and softer crude prices buoyed mood. Earnings optimism stood the stocks in good stead.

Interest also built up ahead of US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell's first congressional testimony for hints on the pace of interest rate hikes.

Oil cool-off pushed up OMCs such as HPCL (up 6.31 per cent), IOC, BPCL. Crude prices have declined about 10 per cent in a week.

Let's bring in Pratik Raja of KIFS Trade Capital to talk on fundamentals. Pratik, how are things looking on the circuit?

Significant Put writing was seen at all strike prices from 10,800 to 11,000 while Call unwinding was seen at strike price 11,000.

The Nifty on Tuesday settled above 11,000 level and formed small bullish candle on the daily chart.
