Susanna Reid had pulled out all the stops to attend the ITV summer part last night – taking to the streets of London in a gorgeous green floor length floral gown.
Paired with a simple silver box clutch and natural toned makeup, Susanna looked the bell of the ITV ball.
However, it would appear that disaster could have only been round the corner for the 47-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter…
In fact, Susanna narrowly avoided baring a little too much to cameras – after a fateful gust of wind had blown the daring thigh high split of the gown a little too far into the air!
Taking to Instagram, Susanna shares a collage featuring the moment of the near-malfunction – writing, “Popped into the ITV summer party last night …. hoping nothing popped out on the way in”.

I love the dress!!”.
Susanna had reposted another snap from the event, in which she posed with fellow celebrity presenters Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins.
Both ladies had also appeared to opt for summery gowns, with Kate choosing a gorgeous canary yellow number and Charlotte a one-shouldered blue and white patterned gown.

Were sure its been quite the relief for GMB viewers to see Susanna in such high spirits, as the lovely lady and her co-host Piers Morgan are taking some time away from the show.
In fact, the ITV breakfast show co-hosts are taking the entire summer off and wont return to our screens until September.
Their last show together aired on the morning of Wednesday 18th July – with Piers telling the audience, “Its our last day tomorrow, so you may as well tune in because Im completely demob happy and anything could happen”.
Its going to be a long summer without our daily dose of Susanna!
