Ouch! Lisa Snowdon shocks fans with acupuncture pics as reveals she has 200 needles in her face

She certainly doesnt look her age, and now Lisa Snowdon has revealed one of her secrets to staying youthful.

The former model has admitted she likes to undergo acupuncture, and shocked fans yesterday when she shared a series of snaps on Instagram.

In one of the photos, 46-year-old Lisa posed in just a bra with her hands covering her modesty and 200 acupuncture needles in her face.

She captioned the pics: “I so needed this. Ive now progressed to 200 needles!! And yes they are everywhere! Dont be freaked out, this is a much needed MOT for my body mind and soul.

“Ive been jet-lagged from our trip to the states, which means my sleep has been all over the place.

“I drank my body weight (which is quite a lot these days!) in tequila, vodka and rosè, Ive had A LOT of fun but its all about balance,” she added.

Lisa continued: “As Ive also mentioned before my hormones have been completely out of whack along with my periods and its quite exhausting not to mention confusing.”

Taking to the comments section, many of Lisas followers seemed concerned with the amount of needles in her face, with one posting: “Ouch! Looks sore. Very brave.”

Another wrote: “I will totally take your word for it! But have to say my stomach is turning looking at all the needles in your face. Not a great lover of needles.”

However, Lisa put their minds at ease and added: “For those who ask if it hurts, it really doesnt- I honestly wouldnt keep going back and paying for a treatment that hurts, its actually so relaxing its like the body just goes ahhhhhhh when the first needles goes in.

“Sarah also uses LED lights on my tummy to help soothe my digestive and adds the lights to my face once all the needles are in and also does a reflexology treatment with her healing hands. Its a proper treat for the whole body. Balancing, healing and a good boost for the immune system.”

Its not the first time Lisa has treated fans to an insight into her alternative beauty regimes.

She recently posted a photo of her preparing to enter a cryotherapy chamber where your body is blasted with temperatures of -80c for three minutes.

She captioned the photo: “ Ice ice baby… and Im back in the chamber! Im just addicted to @111cryo and the way it makes me feel.”
