Waterparks are great fun for all the family, but these stomach-flipping feats will have your knees knocking. From Brazil to Dubai, these are the tallest, biggest, most petrifying waterslides in the world. 
SG Leap of Faith — Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas. The stunning Bahamas may be known for beach-side relaxation, but this memorable flume ride plunges riders from 60ft high, hurtling through a transparent tunnel in a shark-filled lagoon.
The theme park features a Siamese motif – and it was even opened by Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
It is located in Costa Adeje, a coastal suburb of tourist destination Tenerife.
Reports reveal that around £46 million was pumped into the attractions construction – which is probably why its racked up such rave reviews.
The TripAdvisor award winner boasts 12 different rides and areas.

Some of the most-loved waterslides include the Naga Racer, Kinnaree and Singha.
The Mekong Rapids are another popular attraction, as it allows guests to descend down the waves in a rubber ring.
If you want to try out some sports at the location, you can enrol in a surfing class at the Wale Palace.
Here, artificial waves reach 11ft in height, which is the loftiest of any pool in the world.

Theres also plenty to do for those who prefer to avoid heart-pumping rides.
Visitors can kick back in the Mai Thai River, which is the worlds longest lazy river.
Unlike typical attractions, this one gives riders the option to ride a slide at the end of it.
Alternatively, tourists may enjoy relaxing at Siam Beach, which boasts white sands and clear waters.

While adults expect to pay £40 for a day ticket, kids can visit the attraction for £22.
If youre looking for a VIP experience, it will set you back £107.
This allows you “preferential” access to all of the top rides, which is appealing during peak season.
Guests that fork out for the pricier ticket are also given “all inclusive service” at the Beach Bar, Beach Club, Thai House and Thai Bar.
A locker and towel are also thrown into the bundle.
