Carol Vorderman might have been on our TV screens for many years but shes clearly still got a very youthful glow about her!
The 57-year-old presenter has revealed that she was asked to give ID this week when she tried to purchase wine, something retailers usually do if they think a customer looks under the age of 25.
Needless to say, Carol was left feeling pretty chuffed by the incident!
“Omg…..Ive just been asked for ID cos I was buying wine in @marksandspencer….M&S…Youve just made an old Bird VERY happy…lol…,” the TV star joked on Twitter.
Carol continued to be amused by what had happened later on and decided to youthfully drink her booze using a straw.
“Thought Id drink my grape juice through a straw #ItsWhatKidsDo,” the mum-of-two quipped alongside a selfie of the moment.
“I love the lady serving in @marksandspencer #IDRequest #Cambridge station”
Carols followers seemed to find it pretty funny too, with one commenting: “Ha awesome”
“All your Christmas come @ once eh i bet U were glowing,” another said.
Meanwhile Davina McCall added: “Love you x less of the old bird u gorgeous woman”
And speaking of Davina, Carol recently admitted that she has regularly been mistaken for her fellow telly star.
The former Countdown star explained to her Twitter fans on Tuesday: “Lol.Just walking In Cambridge now. Bloke stops his bike Youre really famous. Can I have a selfie? I dont know your name though
“did a selfie and then he asked whats your name.I said Davina @ThisisDavina He said yeah thats right. Thanks Davina and cycled off”
Davina, 50, then replied: “Ok this is a thing now”
Carol must be doing something right to get mistaken for Davina as well as being asked for ID.
The TV favourite has previously admitted to trying Botox and also said that going on a detox diet at the age of 38 changed everything and made her more health aware.
