Security at airports is tight, especially in regards to what you bring onboard with you.
There are restrictions on the amount of liquid you can bring with you on the plane at all UK airports.
You can bring no more than 100ml of each liquid, and they need to fit in a 20cm x 20cm clear plastic bag.
However, there are some items you arent allowed to bring with you at all.

Can you bring a lighter in your hand luggage?
According to the Government website, you can only bring one cigarette lighter onboard with you.
However, this has to be put in your plastic bag along with other liquids through airport security.
You cant bring multiple lighters with you, or any other objects you could use to hurt yourself or others.
You also need to keep the lighter in the bag throughout the flight.
According to the website, you cant put it in your hold luggage, or put it in your hand luggage after screening.
