Could you sleep in a hotel that has no walls or roof? Zero Real Estate is a wall and window-free bed project set on a glorious mountainside spectacularly secluded in the Swiss Alps created by Swiss concept artists Frank and Patrik Riklin and their partner Daniel Charbonnier. Located in the alpine foreland of Wildhaus, Toggenburg the three ???hotel suites' allow you to lie under the sky surrounded with spectacular views of the Safien Valley. The experience begins with an easy check-in at the nearby Hotel Alpenrose. From there, your personal butler will escort you directly to your secluded Swiss paradise. The Burst Suite takes in the beauty of the S??ntis in all its glory, set high above the Toggenburg valley. Discover the Schwendi Suite above the sparkling Lake Schwendisee, with the distant chime of cowbells as your soundtrack. Finally, the Stump Suite lies under a canopy of ancient trees and birdsong, set conveniently close to the hotel sauna and spa. Completely unencumbered by windows and walls, you're free to admire your surroundings in all their captivating glory. Drift off amongst the emerging stars overhead... and with all that fresh mountain air, a sound night's sleep is all but guaranteed. When you wake, you'll find a tasty breakfast basket delivered directly to your bed - from which you may never, ever want to emerge again. The hotel suites under the stars are available through September 1st 2018 via https://toggenburg.org/de/zerorealestate.html but be aware that the hotel currently has a waiting list of 4,500 people! So you want to be one with nature… but youre not too keen on bundling up in a sleeping bag.

This hotel might suit you better: Its a mashup of the joy of sleeping under the stars and resting in a cosy hotel bed.

Zero Real Estates Schwendi Suite is a hotel room thats free of walls, windows, and a roof, set in the secluded forest of Wildhaus, Toggenburg, in the Swiss Alps.

Its the creation of Swiss concept artists Frank and Patrik Riklin, who we imagine thought could save some money on buying artwork for the walls by just letting guests see the incredible surrounding views instead.

Those who stay begin by checking in at the nearby Hotel Alpenrose (which has walls and a roof, dont worry). From there, a butler will escort guests directly to their room.

You know, their room without walls, set high above the Toggenburg valley.

As youd expect, the views are pretty impressive; all mountains and the sparkling Lake Schewndisee with a forest canopy above.

The benefits are obvious. You get to breathe in the fresh Swiss air, take in the views, and sleep under the stars.

But we do have concerns about getting dressed in the morning (youd feel a bit exposed, surely), as well as the risk of birds flying overhead to make a surprise delivery.

Thankfully, guests wont be too far away from other comforts. You can walk straight from your room to the hotels sauna and spa, and every morning a butler will deliver a breakfast basket straight to your bed.

Sounds dreamy, right?

Booking a stay may have to remain a dream, mind you, as the room regularly has waiting lists of over 4,500 people. Oh.

Feel free to recreate a less impressive version of the experience by moving a campbed into your parents back garden.
