It's feels like a lifetime ago when we watched Joe McFadden lift the infamous Glitterball above his head.
But with Strictly Come Dancing 2018 almost back on our telly screens, now host Claudia Winkleman has teased some huge news about the upcoming series.
Taking to Instagram, the presenter – who fronts the show alongside Strictly OG Tess Daly – shared a snap of herself looking all glammed-up from inside a studio.
Clearly very excited about her afternoon ahead, 46-year-old Claudia can be seen with a huge smile on her face as she wrote, “First day on Strictly. Tess and I are about to be told whos taking part. Ill let you know…”
Ooo we cant WAIT to find out!
And it looks like were not the only ones reaching for our feather boers and glittery pants already, as fans of the BBC show rushed to comment on the photo.
“Omg beyond excited”, said one fan, while a second wrote: “Owwwww please do… I wont tell a soul!”
A third agreed: “Cant flippin wait!!!”, while a fourth added: “This can mean only one thing….Christmas countdown is ON!!”
And Claudia wasnt the only one to give fans a sneak-peek of the new series as 49-year-old Tess also shared a few shots of the evening.
The telly presenter looked amazing in a pink dress with a frilly bodice and delicate sleeve.
“Got to snuggle up to this one today @amiclaudiawinkleman”, she wrote.
“So excited for our first day back to work @bbcstrictly PLUS we found out the new celeb cast for STRICTLY 2018! Cant wait to share it with you…!#strictly”.
This comes after the Strictly rumour-mill went into overdrive with reports Steps singer Faye Tozer has apparently signed up for this years show.
The 42-year-old rose to fame in the 1990s and 2000s and has since gone on to perform in various stage shows including Singin In The Rain and Tell Me On A Sunday.
“Few in the past have had quite so much professional performance time as Faye,” a TV insider told The Sun. “Everyone expects her to be a strong contender but it will raise more questions over whether its fair for someone who has danced professionally to be up against people with no experience.”
Meanwhile, while the identity of the celebrity contestants is being kept firmly under wraps for now, the professional dancers reunited in the dance studio this week ahead of the 16th series.
Sharing a photo of the pros together on the official Strictly Twitter feed, it was simply captioned, “Getting ready for #Strictly 2018,” along with some dancing emojis.
How exciting!
