Aww! This Mornings Eamonn Holmes delights fans with heartwarming photo from his sons wedding

Proud dad Eamonn Holmes delighted fans when he shared the first photo from his sons wedding in Ireland.

The This Morning presenter posted a sweet message to go with the photo of Declan and his new wife Jenny which sees them at the altar on their special day.

“I think youll agree they make a lovely couple. My son Declan and his Bride Jenny now Man & Wife.,” 58-year-old Eamonn wrote.

And the stars 971k followers were quick to comment on the snap, with one writing, “How magical. What a fantastic picture xx”.

“Congratulations to the happy couple”, said another, while a third added, “Gorgeous couple. Congrats to the whole family”.

This comes after Ruth Langsfords husband shared his excitement over the ceremony on Wednesday, telling his followers, “Its a Special Day. My first born son @decholmes gets married today to @JennyGouk. The clans are gathering and Im delighted to say theres a lot of Love and happiness all around us. #IrishWedding”.

Eamonns son – who he shares with his ex-wife Gabrielle – also took to his own Instagram page yesterday to share a couple of shots from his wedding day alongside a sweet message to his wife.

“Cant even begin to describe how my wife and I are feeling at the moment,” he told his followers.

“Completely overwhelmed by the kindness and good wishes! We had an amazing day surrounded by family and friends, thank you all so much for making it so special!

“Castle Leslie now has a very special place in our hearts. Now time to relax. Cheers.”

This comes just days after Eamonn was forced to step down from his This Morning duties after revealing hed been struck down by shingles.

The popular TV host shared a snap of his painfully swollen face which was dotted with red marks over the weekend along with the caption, “I know I look as though Ive been in a scrap but honestly I havent. Its worse than that – its Shingles.”
