Eamonn Holmes has been reflecting on his son Declans wedding last week with some sweet photos – including one of a very funny moment involving Ruth Langford!
The presenter cheekily posted a snap of Ruth sinking into a sofa at the venue of the nuptials in Ireland and admitted that it had made him chuckle.
“So many laughs this week …. like this one as Ruth sunk inside a very soft sofa!” Eamonn, 58, captioned the Instagram post. “Laughter really is the best medicine.

In the picture Ruth, 58, is seen giggling as she tries not to slip entirely into the sofa whilst chatting to a fellow guest.
Ruth certainly looked lovely for the occasion too, having chosen to wear a floral blue dress.
Fans loved seeing the funny snapshot, with one commenting: “You both make me laugh so much! You both are so funny together! 
”

It comes after Eamonn posted a sweet picture of son Declan with his new wife Jenny last week following the wedding.

Ruth also spoke of her joy at seeing her stepson tie the knot.
“The look of love….. @declan08 & Doctor Jenny Gouk …now husband & wife. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Holmes! ,” she posted.
Eamonn had earlier revealed his excitement ahead of 29-year-old Declans wedding when he tweeted: “Its a Special Day .My first born son @decholmes gets married today to @JennyGouk . The clans are gathering and Im delighted to say theres a lot of Love and happiness all around us. #IrishWedding”
The presenter has children Declan, 27-year-old Rebecca and Niall, 25, from his first marriage to ex-wife Gabrielle. He also has son Jack, 16, with Ruth.
It sounds like Eamonn and Ruth had an idyllic break in Ireland but its back to business now, with the pair returning to host This Morning this week whilst Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are away.
