This Morning fans have seen several new presenters take the reigns whilst Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are on their summer break – with often mixed reviews.
However, many were left impressed by hosts Mollie King and Matt Edmondson on todays show and some even compared them to a young version of This Morning icons Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield! Praise indeed.
Former Saturdays star Mollie, 31, and Matt, 32, took over duties on the ITV programme and viewers couldnt help but notice a resemblance to the shows usual presenting duo.
“Matt & Molly are like younger versions of Phil & Holly… #thismorning love them hosting,” one watcher tweeted, whilst another wrote: “@thismorning Am I the only one whos thinking that the lovely Molly looks exactly like the gorgeous Holly Willoughby?”
And one added: “How good are Matt & Mollie at This Morning? Best duo since Phil & Holly”
Meanwhile one agreed: “Ngl, Mollie and Matt are giving Phil and Holly a run for their money on This Morning today.. quite like them!”
Some even called for them to get a regular slot, with one fan tweeting: “I think it should be phil and holly then for 1 or 2 days Mollie and Matt time for change”

Not everybody was entirely convinced by the pair though.
“Mollie is ok.. but Matt is a no! Theyre a bit awkward,” one viewer said.
Another posted: “Mollie King and Matt Edmondson on This Morning. Friday ruined”
The duo have been presenting together for several months now on their BBC Radio 1 show but this outing marked their first TV appearance together.
Mollie already had a bit of practice beforehand though, having hosted This Morning alongside Ben Shepherd last week.
The pair are the latest to take over presenting duties on the programme this summer, with other recent hosts including Rylan Clark-Neal with Gok Wan and Vanessa Feltz with Dr Ranj Singh.
Meanwhile Holly, 37, and Phil, 56, are continuing to enjoy their time off from the show and Holly gave her Instagram fans a glimpse of what shes getting up to in a sunny selfie yesterday.

Fans missing seeing Holly and Phil on the sofa can rest assured that theyll soon be back though, with the duo set to return in September.
