Our heart goes out to Take Me Out Host Paddy McGuinness and his wife Christine, who recently had their family home burgled.
Thieves are understood to have broken into the comics £2.1 million Cheshire mansion and stolen goods amounting to over £1000.
Yesterday, the couple – who have been married since 2011 – were spotted leaving Wimslow Police Station in Cheshire after reporting the crime to local officers.
While full details of the crime have yet to be released, its believed burglars raided the seven-bedroom home, which they share with their three children – twins Penelope and Leo, five and Felicity, two – earlier this week.
Its still unknown whether the family-of-five were present during the robbery or which items were taken from their home.
Nevertheless, Paddy and Christine – who was seen filming scenes for ITVBes The Real Housewives of Cheshire with co-star Tanya Bardlsey earlier that day – remained in high spirits as they made their way from the police station on Thursday.
Deep in conversation as they climbed into their Range Rover, the presenter, 45, and model wife, 30, kept their heads high.
Fans have since expressed their condolences for the family.
“Awful…that woman has been thru enough without being burgled too,” one wrote.
“Got to upgrade your security, but thankfully nobody was hurt. Possessions can be replaced people not so much,” another added.
“A horrid crime that no-one should have to suffer,” a third said.
It comes after the mum-of-three opened up about her twins battle with autism, after announcing their diagnosis last year July.
She also revealed that their youngest was beginning to show signs of the same condition.
Speaking on Loose Women earlier this year, the former Miss Liverpool said the twins diagnosis came as an “instant shock.”
“We had absolutely no idea they had autism even though the signs were there,” she bravely revealed.
“They were non-verbal until they were three, they both walked on their tip toes, they didnt socialise very well.
“They still do struggle with socialising with other children, and thats probably one of the most heartbreaking parts of it because thats just something you expect your children to do, go and make lots of friends.”
We sure hope the family came move past this hard time!
